What drives us
Founded in 2005 as a technology integrator for the sulfuric acid industry, Holtec was created with the purpose of connecting the operational needs of its clients with the best technical solutions available worldwide.
In 2006, at our clients’ request, we began with the technical formation of operators and engineers.
In 2010 we created our Non-Destructive Testing department, responding to a concrete need for specialized inspection in acid plants, smelters and concentrators.
In 2013 we formalized our educational vocation by creating Holtec Capacitaciones, certified as an OTEC under chilean ISO standard NCh 2728.
In 2021 that trajectory culminated in Academia.Holtec, our online educational platform designed to respond to the specific technical skill building needs of the industry.
Every step was driven by our clients, not by a growth plan.
The result is an integrated and uncommon value proposition: from strategic advisory to technical inspection, specialized training and partnerships with world-class technology leaders, all under one roof.
Today, with over 20 years of experience, more than 30 clients and over 400 projects executed, Holtec is a reference in advisory and technologies for sulfuric acid plants, smelters and mining, with a global presence.

Our interventions range from designing and building complete plants to targeted process inspections.
NDT.Holtec
Our non-destructive testing arm, with certified inspectors and state-of-the-art technology for the integrity assessment of critical assets in industrial operations. Our clients include Boliden, Atlantic Copper and Codelco, among others.
Academia.Holtec
Our educational platform, with over 425 courses delivered and 4,850 students trained in operations, maintenance and instrumentation for the industry.
Clients: Anglo American, Antofagasta Minerals, Atlantic Copper, Boliden, Codelco (six divisions), ISUSA, Molymet, OCP, PQP, and Southern Copper, among others.
Our principal courses are available in Spanish, English, French, Finnish and Swedish.
Mesa Redonda
Our contribution to the industry’s technical dialogue: an annual gathering that brings together operators, engineers and suppliers from sulfuric acid plants, smelters and refineries worldwide.
Our last two editions brought delegates from 19 countries, from Russia, China and India to Canada and Australia.
